Book Now - Learner Drive Day

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Norwell Motorplex have partnered together to give learner drivers a safe place to practice driving without the hassles of other road users, intersections and those dreaded hill starts. We realised that quite often new drivers are by themselves the first time they’re pulled over; meaning they might not know how to react to the situation which can put everyone in a dangerous situation. This program will prepare you for these types of scenarios! We’ll have the QPS here on the day driving around the track and giving you experience on being pulled over, or directed into an RBT site. They’ll also be helping you experience giving way to an emergency vehicle that is travelling under lights and sirens. You’ll use your own car and bring your own supervisor, who must be at least 25 years of age and hold a current open driver’s licence issued by an Australian state. There are strict speed limits applied which means there is no need for a helmet. These free programs will be offered monthly and spots fill up fast, so make sure you book in to get this valuable experience.

There is a $25 administration fee. This amount is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
